The Strings & Things repair shop is one of the best and busiest in New Hampshire. Erik Hodges is the department head, ably assisted by Mike Gallant and Brooks Young . A gold certified Fender amp technician heads up our electronics department.
We offer complete service for all Fender brand instruments and amplifiers, and can maintain or fix any brand of guitar or amp, from any dealer or even private sale. Our shop rate for stringed instrument repair is only $60.00 per hour. That’s $20.00 less than the national average! All Stringed instrument repairs are performed in house by our staff, and are usually ready to play within 48 hours! Online purchases, yard sales, a gift from Gramma, we do them all!
We can offer on the spot evaluations of older instruments and provide an estimate of the total cost of the repairs or adjustments needed when you bring your ‘closet classic’ to us. We also have all the extra "strings and things" you need to maintain your instrument after our repairs are complete. We will always tell our customers if an instrument is too far gone to fix, but we seldom have any repair request that we can’t handle.
