Jordan Wysocki
Jordan has been fiddlin' around for 15 years, collaborating since the
age of 10 with numerous bands and solo musicians around New England,
New York City and Ireland. In 1999 he was the youngest representative
of NH at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival in Washington, D.C.
Highlight gigs since then have ranged from several governor's
inaugurations to the Bowery Ballroom in NYC, to The Hampton Beach
Casino Ballroom, where his rock band, JamAntics, opened for Little
Feat in 2009. He has released several albums, has won about a dozen
fiddle contests around New England with old-time style fiddling,
travelled around Ireland studying and performing traditional Celtic
music, and more recently has crossed genres to play rock and funk on
the electric fiddle. Whether you are a beginner or an accomplished
musician looking to branch out into the world of fiddling, Jordan
would be excited to work with you and share his love of the instrument
and all the kinds of music you can create with it.
